So, here is my second entry...
I wanted to make a wall that was special in honor of my daughter.... This wall has always been dedicated to her, but I wanted to 'spice it up' a bit.
I used:

3D Flower Kit

Breezy Meadow Butterflies

Swirlies Collection

I used the Swirlies kit for the vinyl on the wall and the etching on the vase. For the flower I used 3d Flowers. The butterflies made of paper and vinyl, I used Breezy Meadow Butterflies... The papers are Basic Grey and Bazzill. The frames I've had for a while and the poem was written by my aunt's sister-in-law.. The last photo is the BEFORE picture... Thanks for looking..

My 1st submission for SVGCuts.com challenge

This month's challenge for SVGCuts.com was a Home Decor project...

For the vinyl I used svgcuts.com Mrs. Robinson's 12x12 cuts #9 found here. For the pictures I layered chipboard to different levels and hung them like frames. This is just outside my Scrapbook room and I love the final results... Thanks for looking..

For teacher appreciation we decorate the Teacher's door to let then know how much we appreciate them. This is what I did for Tate's kindergarten teacher. Each Paper doll represents a child (I tried to match their hair as best as I could) and they are holding a picture of that child... I think it turned out really cute. I just wish I had taken better pictures....

I know, I know I haven't posted in a while... Sorry about that... My boys (son and husband) have been sick and ... well.. I am the mom... All is well now...

I made this book for a great client... As you can see it has a Cheerleader theme. I have to say this book was a lot of fun to make because it was colors that I don't normally use, and a theme that I wouldn't usually be able to create.... I love the Girlie stuff!!!

Here is another custom order for a Fabulous client... This one is for a little boy.. It took me a little longer because of all the paper piecings, but I think it turned out cute...

The shine on the letters in not glitter (it is for a boy). It is Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE)... I love the texture and shine it gives without making it too girlie..

Goodbye Green!!

How do you say goodbye to an animal friend? The other day we found "Green" in his cage cuddled in the corner. He got too cold... So sad!! What will "Blue" do now?? "Blue" is the other bird Tate's Grandpa Wendell gave him 4 years ago.. Even the cat knew something was up. He was lying by the cage looking into it when we found "Green"..

Tate took it very well.. When I told him that one of his birds had gone to heaven he said, "Now JaCee will have a bird in heaven to play with"..

We buried Green in the backyard and marked his "grave" with a little bird statue. Tate put some flowers on the ground and said, "Now we will visit you here, instead of in the house".. I think he will handle these kinds of things better than I ever will..

Bye "Green" you and your little chirps will be missed greatly.

JaCee's Birthday!!

Well, she would have been 9 today (and we should have had a girlie Birthday party)... I know it's been almost five years but it's still so hard to think about.. I miss her so much!!! All of her little girlfriends have moved out of the neighborhood... One of the hardest things to think about is "what should have been"....

Roy went and picked up a cake... You can't have a birthday without a cake, right??... You don't want to sing "Happy" Birthday either... This is something that will always hurt and I'm afraid the pain will never go away. I feel like I'm getting farther and farther away from her and there is nothing I can do about it... We miss you JaCee, so very much!!

Please remember to always drive safely so others might be spared this pain!!

We love you JaCee and wherever you are in Heaven "Happy Birthday"!!!

I was going through all of my picture files the other day, getting them all ready to burn to a DVD (I had a friend lose some of her pictures, because her hard drive crashed)... Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Eatough... Grandma passed away last month. Grandpa couldn't live without her, he passed away Monday...natural Causes.. These were the best grandparents I had.. I am happy they are together and happy.. I will miss them..

Half Dose is better

Well, I don't want to bore you too terribly much about my recovery from a tonsillectomy. But it's consuming my day right now...

I have to tell you if you are ever in Idaho/Northern Utah area and are in need of some small town care... Franklin County is the place to go... They spoil you..

The lab department is the best.. Speaking of lab departments(in any hospital), I don't think they get enough credit for what they do. They take your blood and it hurts... I know this... but without their abilities we might never know what is wrong with us.. The tech who put in my IV was so kind to my son.. She took the time to explain everything about IVs to him. I asked him if he liked hearing about stuff like that and he said, "Yah, 'cuz it's cool"... I'm thinking medical school, maybe..

So we bought Tate this little set from PlayMobile to help him process what was going on (mom in the hospital can be quite scary, especially for him). It has a woman in a hospital bed with an IV, really cute.. Well he spent all day caring for his patient, then he comes in to me and says, "Is there anything I can get for you sweetie?" He is such a great kid...

Well, I'm HOME!!

I made it... Can't eat anything "solid" for a while... as long as I'm medicated I feel pretty good... I think I might just lay in bed for the rest of the day and digi-scrap.. YAY!! Although, I think I should be sleeping..LOL

I have the nicest dh in the world he has treated me like a Princess.. He's trying his hand at cooking a roast for dinner for him and Tate(this should be interesting). I'm sure it will be yummy... I think I need to be careful 'cuz I could get used to this LOL!!!

I'm hoping this will be the end of my sore throat episodes, that would be nice!!

Sorry no pics.. I didn't really think anyone would want to see before and after shots of my tonsils.... I didn't, yuck!! But hey, if you really want to see some, I'm sure you could Google it...

I probably should close now.. I think I might be sounding a little loopy and later will have to delete this post...

Our First Home

Ok!! So this wasn't the first "house" we lived in after we were married... It is, however, the first one we were able to call "HOME".. We lived in the basement, underneath a really neat elderly couple... JaCee was born in this house, we had a garden, and were sooo poor...good times!!!

This is my 5th digital scrapbook page... I'm learning about shadows.. I know ..not perfect.. but I'm getting better...

I took 116 pictures yesterday... This was a well documented Easter... On Saturday we took Tate and my great-niece and nephew to Roy's family and had an Easter egg hunt and party.. Then on Sunday we went to Denise's (like every year).. The kids had so much fun finding eggs, playing in the dirt and feeding the horses.. Oh, we had dinner too!!
Tate has so much candy it should (better) last him until at least Spring Break!!

Birthdays in the Hathaway home are always a huge affair... This year was no exception. The theme Pirates... 20 children attended and we had a blast...

The decorations were a pirate ship that Tate got for Christmas and one he got for his birthday... tons of streamers and 36 balloons...

We had a picture treasure hunt with a "real" treasure map <-- Of course the children loved this (they got presents)..
